Leonard J. Vice, 90, Massena

Funeral services for Leonard J. Vice, 90, of St. Regis Nursing Home and formerly of Walnut St., Massena, will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Massena.

Friends and family may be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home in Massena. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Brasher Falls. Leonard passed away on August 2, 2010 at Massena Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by a sister, Anna Mae Vice of Massena; a brother and sister in-law, Robert and Theresa Vice; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers and three sisters, Carl, Howard Rollin Vice, Helen Clline, Marion Bashaw, and Emma Bell Vice in infancy.

Born February 11, 1920 in Massena the son of Henry and Grace (Currier) Vice. He worked for Alcoa for several years, and then farmed on the family farm in Louisville. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, in Massena. He enjoyed wood carving, fishing, and hunting.
