Memorial Services for Leo LeDuc, age 83, of Ogdensburg, will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Nig’s Tavern on State Street from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Frary Funeral Home. Mr. LeDuc passed away at his home on Jay Street on Monday morning, March 25, 2013.
Leo was survived by his daughter, Justina LeDuc and her companion Gary Loffler; two sons, Joseph and his companion, Lisa Ghize, Butch LeDuc and his companion, Pat; three grandchildren, Justin LeDuc , Donald and Ashley Ledwith; and one great grandson, Nate.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Rosemarie Kennedy in 2006.
Leo LeDuc was born on April 10th 1929 in Ogdensburg, the son of Clarence and Anita Martin LeDuc. He attended local schools and graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1949. After graduation Leo had served in the U.S. Army in the 529th field artillery observation battalion. He first married Elaine Sayer in 1950 with that marriage ending in divorce. He had a long time companion of 27 yrs, Arlene Jenner. He worked for Alliance Tool & Die in Rochester, where he worked until retirement in 1986.
He enjoyed fishing, riding his scooter and also enjoyed hanging out with his friends at Nig’s Tavern.
