Jack Puterbaugh, formerly a long time resident and Fire Chief in Norfolk, died Tuesday, December 19 in Cape Coral Florida, with his wife and family by his side.
Jack relocated his family and air conditioning business to Cape Coral Florida in 1982. Jack became a state licensed mechanical contractor and opened his air conditioning and geothermal pool heating business in Naples, Florida. Jack grew his business and became a very successful contractor in the area.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Lois, formerly of Massena; a daughter, Lynn and her husband Hector Rodriguiz of Alva, Fl.; a son, John and his wife Wendy and their daughters Shelby and Shanna, and son Jay of San Carlos Park, Fl.; a son Jeff and his wife Corrien and their son Justin and daughter Jacilynn of Alva, Fl.
Jack enjoyed going to Nascar races, taking trips with his wife Lois, fishing, crown and ginger and just having a real good time with family and friends. Jack will always be remembered as a loving husband and father, and a good friend to the many people who knew him.
The family is planning a celebration of life in Jack’s memory with family and friends in January, in Alva, Florida.
