A Candle light vigil will be held at the boat launch in Morristown, Friday Evening (April 26, 2013), at 7:00 p.m. celebrating the life of James N. Hess, who passed away April 23,2013.
Mr. Hess is survived by his mother, Kathleen Hess, of Naples, Florida; a brother, David of Hammond; two sisters, Sandy and her husband, Matt Bell, of Elmira and Carolyn Johnson and her husband, Richard, of Hannawa Falls; and also many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, John; and his father, William.
James was born on December 24, 1963 in Ogdensburg the son of William and Kathleen Sinno Hess. He graduated from Morristown Central School and then went on and graduated from Welding School. He first went to work for Frank’s Welding in Clayton, and then went to work for Richard’s Machine Shop in Hammond and the last few years he was a handy man for many of the Morristown residents.
He enjoyed spending time on the river and spending time with his friends.
Donations may be made in his memory to the Morristown Volunteer Fire Department.
