Jack Hutton, 62, Richville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19 at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
There will be no funeral services, but calling hours are Sunday, Sept. 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur.
Jack was born in Gouverneur on Aug. 10, 1950, the son of Robert and Frances Yerdon Hutton.
Jack graduated from Gouverneur High School in 1968, and he married Linda Smith on August 17, 1968 at the Gouverneur Wesleyan Church.
He was employed at the paper mill in Natural Dam, at New York Air Brake in Watertown, and for over twenty years he worked for the quarries at Balducci’s, Basins, and IMERYS.
Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in the garden, and he was known for his sense of humor.
Jack is survived by his wife, Linda; a son, Robert and Tracey Hutton of Fowler; two daughters, Lisa and Richard McAdam of Gouverneur, Laurie and Kevin White of Massena; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
He is also survived by a brother, Jerry and Aneita Hutton of Fowler; four sisters, Judy Hitchman of Gouverneur, Joan and Rodney Shove of Rossie, Jean Jolly of Holly, Janet Hutton of Rossie; a half brother, Glenn Hutton of Connecticut; a step brother, Martin Dusharm of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents; a sister, Joyce Harris; and step mother, Lucille Hutton.
