RUSSELL -- Calling hours for Mr. Henry N. Bradford, Jr. 73, will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. at the O’Leary Funeral Home, Canton, where a closing prayer will be held at 7:00 p.m. A committal service will be held on Saturday, March 17 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hermon Cemetery. Henry passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at his home.
Henry is survived by three children from a 23 year marriage to Wanda Harmer, Henry N. Bradford III and wife Jamie of Cato, Lori Bradford-Mancuso of Liverpool, and Christopher Bradford and wife Julie of Russell; seven grandchildren, Justin and Brendan Mancuso, Graeme and Oliver Bradford and Stephen and Sam Bradford and Baby Bradford, expected to arrive in August. Also surviving are two nieces, Lisa and Julie Bradford and a nephew, David Bradford.
He was predeceased by a son, Stephen Bradford; and a brother, David Bradford.
Henry was born February 6, 1945 in Middletown, New York; the son of the late Henry N. and Helen (Eason) Bradford. He graduated from Hermon-DeKalb Central School and attended both Hudson Valley Community College and Syracuse University. Henry worked at the Newton Falls paper mill for 31 years prior to its closure.
Henry was very family oriented, following his children and grandchildren’s sports. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, collectibles and hunting and fishing.
