
Helen V. Bridgewater, 48, formerly of Ogdensburg, died, May 9, 2012, in Delaware. Allen-Nichols Funeral Home of Ogdensburg is entrusted with arrangements. Calling hours will be Friday, June 8th, 2012, 12 - 2 p.m.; the memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home, Reverend Father James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
Helen is survived by her father, Charles Rheome of Ogdensburg; a son, Marcus Bridgewater of Wilmington DE; daughters, Stephanie and Victoria Bridgewater of Wilmington, DE; brothers, Charles Rheome of Fredericks OK, John (Noeemyi) Rheome of Alcoa TN, Michael Rheome of Ogdensburg; sisters, Mary Sue (Rick) Middlemiss of Madrid, Linda Monroe (companion Bob Wells) of Massena, Suzanne (John) Masters of Ogdensburg, Sara Chevier of Ogdensburg; step-siblings, Larry (Kaye) Paige of Ogdensburg, Timothy Paige of Ogdensburg, David Paige of Syracuse, Wanda Greene of Ogdensburg, Susan (Wayne) Washburn of Lisbon; grandchildren, Jaquin and Jahein Lolley of Wilmington DE; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Bridgewater and a sister, Sally Dumas.
Helen was born September 7, 1963, in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Charles and Alice Taggart Rheome. She graduated from Altus High School; she then married Leslie Bridgewater, the marriage ended in divorce. Helen was a home health aide.
