Mr. Harold Vernon Murray, age 66, of Norwood, passed away on May 28, 2012 at the Fletcher Allen Medical Center. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Norwood with Msgr. Harry Snow presiding.

Harold is survived by his wife, Clara Mitchell Murray; four children, Kenneth (Tracy O’Shea) Murray, Robert (Trina Weller) Murray, Brian (Renee Serviss) Murray, and daughter Amanda (Jason) Murray Osgood; 12 grandchildren, Cameron, Kennedy, Jessica, Jarrett, Taylor, Mercedes, Austin, Logan, Corben, Wyatt, Trinity and Lia; his brothers and sisters, Morris Murray, Anthony Murray, Vernon Murray, George Murray, Carol Droppo and Carolyn Jones; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Harold was predeceased by his parents Vernon and Dorothy Murray; and sisters Mary McGregor and Patricia Pryce.

Harold Vernon Murray was born August 6, 1945 in Potsdam, to the late Vernon and Dorothy Caskinette Murray. He attended Potsdam schools. On May 31, 1969 at St. Mary’s Church in Potsdam he was married to Clara Mitchell. Mr. Murray worked for many years at Potsdam Central School as a custodian and then as a bus driver until his retirement in 1990. Harold was loved by many.
