Gerald "Jerry" P. Wilson, 65, of Marsh Road, Norfolk, passed away on June 11, 2012 surrounded by his loving family and hospice at Massena Memorial Hospital in Massena. Jerry was born on September 23, 1946 in Massena the son of Glenn and Mabel (Michaud) Wilson.

Jerry was employed for a brief period at Reynolds Metals, and later at Metropolitan Oil. He then went to work for Walsh Trucking as a dispatcher. A marriage to Sandra Beaudin ended in divorce. He later married Sharleen DeShane on September 23, 1995 in Louisville.

Surviving Jerry is his wife, Sharleen; three daughters, Diane Durant of Massena, Suzanne and husband Raymond Thibault of Massena, and Drs Joanne and Neil Chichetti of Massena; a step daughter, Kimberly and Steve LaClair of Massena; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Alan Wilson of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.

Jerry was predeceased by two grandchildren and two brothers, Douglas and Thomas Wilson; and two great grandchildren, Benjamin and William

Jerry enjoyed camping, hunting, and working in his wood shop. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home. Friends and family may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Interment will take place in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Louisville.
