A celebration of life for Evan Aaron Jamison, 20, of Massena will be held on Wednesday (August 18, 2010) at 8:00 p.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena.
Friends and family may be received on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until the remembrance at 8 p.m. Any family and friends wishing to share their loving memories of Evan may do so at that time. Evan passed away at home on Sunday August 15, 2010.
He is survived by his mother, Kathleen and step-father Stefan Kuppek both of Massena; his maternal grandmother, Thelma Blackman of Carson City, Nevada; a half-brother, Jason Hansen at home; a half-sister, Heather Leu of Spokane, WA; one aunt, Debra Jamison of Spokane, WA; and one uncle, Ronald Jamison of Spokane, WA.
Evan was a graduate of Massena Central in 2008. He was on the track team while in high school and made it to the State championship for the high jump event. After graduating he attended SUNY Plattsburgh from 2008 until the present. Evan loved playing his guitar, playing basketball, soccer, and computer games.
