POTSDAM -- Elizabeth Ann Jerome, 80, passed away on Thursday, May 18 at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home in Ogdensburg.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church with Rev. Stephen Rocker celebrant.
Burial will follow the service at Bayside Cemetery in Potsdam.
Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Monday, May 22 from 2-4 and 7-9.

Liz is survived by her sister, Hilda Keleher; her brother, George (Isabelle) Jerome and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her brothers Bill and Mervin Jerome and his sisters, Marion Haywood and Alberta Hoyt.
Liz was born February 1, 1937, in Potsdam to Ernest (Mike) Jerome and Dora Price.
She was a 1955 graduate of Potsdam Central School.
She went to airlines stewardess school in Plattsburg. She then worked for 53 years in the cafeteria at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital retiring in 2010.
She was an avid bowler, played softball and loved the New York Yankees especially Derek Jeter and Bernie Williams.
She bowled all over and enjoyed traveling and vacations.
Liz’s family would like to thank the nurses on the first floor at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home in Ogdensburg, also Missy from Hospice who loved her very much.
