Funeral services for Eileen B. Daniel, age 82, of County Route 15 Heuvelton, will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday (May 31, 2012) at the Christian Family Tabernacle in Kendrew with Pastor Ron Stiles officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rensselaer Falls Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday (May 30, 2012) from 5-7 p.m. at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Mrs. Daniel passed away early Sunday morning (May 27, 2012) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Surviving is her husband, Gilbert “Bud” Daniel; two sons, Richard Gilmour and his companion Barb Judware of Brooksville, FL and Waddington and Douglas Daniel and his companion Denise Peacock of Heuvelton; a daughter, Lori (Daniel) Kelley and her companion Alan Hamilton of Heuvelton; seven grandchildren, Lisa Beldock and her companion Paul French of Madrid, Rebecca Kelley and her companion Michael Donnelly, Eric Kelley, Josh Daniel, Amy Hamilton, Megan Hamilton and Brandi Daniel all of Heuvelton; and three great-grandchildren Nicholas and Colby Beldock and Owen Daniel.

A brother Lorne Eustis predeceased her.

Eileen was born on April 15, 1930 in Ogdensburg, daughter of the late Harold & Grace (Boyd) Eustis. She attended Rensselaer Falls School for her education, and a previous marriage to John Gilmour who was the father of Richard ended in divorce. She again found happiness with Gilbert “Bud” Daniel, and the couple was married on March 18, 1967.

She was a past member of the Oswegatchie Women’s Bowling League and enjoyed feeding the birds, listening to country music, family genealogy, gardening and spending time with her family.
