Funeral services for Edward J. Huntley, 64, of 101 Lafayette St., Ogdensburg, will be held on November 2 at Frary Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Burial will be in Ogdensburg Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on November 1 at Frary Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. 6 to 8 p.m. Mr. Huntley passed away on October 27 at his home.
Mr. Huntley is survived by his wife, Cindy; one son, James E. Huntley and his wife Angela of Spokane, WA; one daughter, Susan Huntley and her fiancé, Tim Kinch of Canton; three brothers, Thomas and John, both of Ogdensburg, and Robert of Massena; one sister, Joan Huntley of Ogdensburg; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Derrick and Reece. He was predeceased by one sister, Donna Miller.
Mr. Huntley was born on April 10, 1946, in Gouverneur, the son of Hugh and Audrey (Harper) Huntley. He attended local schools. He married Cindy Chistman on March 22, 1969, at the Methodist Church in Ogdensburg. He served in the U.S. Air force from 1964 to 1967. He worked at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center where he worked on the grounds for over thirty years.
Mr. Huntley was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Amvets. Mr. Huntley enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and walking the boys (the dogs). He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle
