Dr. Barbara Ann Gray, 50, 43B Oakes Road, suddenly passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at her home.
Dr. Gray was born July 1, 1963 in Queens, the daughter of George Gray and the late Muriel “Beedy” Serra Gray. She graduated from Haldane Central School in Cold Springs, as well as Glendale Community College. She continued her education at Arizona State University, earning her Juris Doctorate and PhD.
Barbara was a court attorney and St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Court Administrator for the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe. She was a crafted Artisan with using black ash to make baskets. She also was known for her beading, pen and ink artwork and enjoyed working with water colors.
Barbara is survived by her brother, John and Meggan Gray; her nephew, Johnathan Gray, all of Glendale, AZ; and her father, George Gray of Akwesasne.
She was predeceased by her mother on November 15, 2013.
As per her wishes, there will be no calling hours, and no funeral service.
