Funeral services for David A. Tynon, age 58, of 34 Pine Street, Ogdensburg will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Notre Dame Church at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 9:30 A.M. to 12:30 p.m. at Frary Funeral Home prior to the funeral. Mr. Tynon passed away on November 10, 2010 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.
Mr. Tynon is survived by three brothers, Dennis Tynon Jr. and his wife Judy, Michael Tynon and his companion Laura Bogart and Kenneth Tynon and his wife Alice, all of Ogdensburg; two sisters, Barbara Ward and her husband Phillip and Judy LaJoy and her husband Bruce, both of Ogdensburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Tynon was predeceased by two sisters, Linda LaBeau and Carol Ann Mills.
Mr. Tynon was born on January 23, 1952 in Ogdensburg, the son of Dennis and Virginia Williams Tynon. Mr. Tynon graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1970. He worked at the St. Lawrence Sheriff’s Department as a Correctional Officer for over 19 years. He later worked for CDP as a driver for five years.
Mr. Tynon enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.
