David L. Sharlow, 78, of LaGrasse St. passed away on March 31, 2013 at Claxton-Hepburn Hospital where he had been a patient for a week.
David was born on March 15, 1935 in Waddington the son of Henry A. and Florence (Jandrew) Sharlow. He was employed at Sharlow's Service Station as a clerk, and was previously employed at Donah's Big M in Potsdam.
David's survivors include his son, David P. Sharlow, of North Lawrence; a grandson; two brothers, Edwin and wife Lorie and Paul both of Waddington, a sister, Beverly Muhlbeier of Sonora, CA; and many nieces and nephews .
He was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers, Mildred Champion, Maude Freeman and Helen Rookey, Roy W. and Henry A. Sharlow.
David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his neighbor Rick Oshier of Waddington. Those wishing to make memorial contributions may do so in David's name to Waddington Rescue Squad.
Funeral services will be held on April 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Waddington with Msgr. Harry Snow presiding. Friends and family may be received on Thursday April 4, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Phillips Memorial Home, 28 Clinton St. in Waddington. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Waddington.
