Dallas H. Hazelton, 74, Massena, passed away May 15 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt. surrounded by his loving family.
Dallas was born March 17, 1939 in Gouverneur, the son of Donald and Dorothy (Howe) Hazelton.
He attended St. Lawrence Central High School.
He married Sally Catura September 30, 1961 in Moria.
Dallas was employed at the GM Plant in Massena and then went to work at Alcoa where he was employed for 35 years and retired as a supervisor in 2001. He was a member of the Alcoa 25 Year Club.
Dallas was an avid gun collector and was a past member of the Massena Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his loving wife Sally; two son's, Dallas and Jeanne of Wichita, KS and Randy and Kristi of Fremont, NE; a daughter Candace and John Tatro of Louisville; nine grandchildren, Elishia, Keely, Randy Jr., Jessica, Rochelle, Kinsley, McKenna, Jaislyn, and Coen; and one great grandchild named Lyla Marie.
He was also survived by two sisters, Deanna and Hugh Schickel of Malone, and Dawn and John Reynolds of South Carolina.

Committal services will be held at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours.
