Charlene Marie Baggott, 72, entered into the arms of our Lord on Aug. 3, 2010.
A 1 p.m. Mass will be held Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 4401 Prestley Mill Road, Douglasville, Ga.
A celebration of her life will immediately follow at the Now Club located at 7439 Strickland Street in Douglasville.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Eugene Baggott, daughters, Amy Olla of Woodstock, Ga., and Michele Doeschot of Newark, Calif.; son, Timothy Wilson of Walnut Creek, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Charlene is preceded in death by her son, Arthur Wilson; and daughter, Vicky Pachasa.
Charlene was born April 1, 1938, in Norfolk, to Elizabeth and Arthur Woodward. She was the oldest of four children.
She had five children from a marriage that was absolved and relocated to California where she met and married Eugene Baggott of Augusta, Ga., on April 19, 1980. They retired and moved to Douglasville, Ga., in 1996.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, crossword puzzles, reading the New York Times, preparing Hungarian dishes, traveling, and was a devoted Yankee fan.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to the Salvation Army.
