Agnes M. St. Hilaire, 87, passed away Sunday at the Fletcher Allen Medical Center.

Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira.

Agnes was born February 28, 1925, the daughter of the late Jesse & Margaret (Jock) Russell. She received her education locally in Moira. May 5, 1946 she married Lester J. Griffin, he predeceased her on December 29, 1977. June 17, 2000 she united into marriage to George J. St. Hilaire Sr., he entered into rest on March 13. 2010. For over 35 years, Agnes was a dedicated employee to the Tru Stitch Factory, Bombay as a sewer.

Agnes leaves behind a niece and nephew; Valerie (Frank) Riley and Peter (Cathy) Vaughn both of Malone; and her stepchildren, Judy Bush of North Bangor, George (Sharon) St. Hilaire of North Bangor, Thomas (Brenda) St. Hilaire of North Bangor, Richard (Cathy) St. Hilaire of North Bangor, Martin (Faith) St. Hilaire of Dickinson, Cynthia (Philip) Clark of North Bangor, Michael St. Hilaire his partner Michael Malloy of North Bangor, and Ronald (Mary Jo) North Bangor. Agnes, will be fondly remembered by her may step grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.

Agnes had seven siblings, and they all predeceased her.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.

Friends may call upon Agnes’s family Wednesday (May 30, 2012) from 4-7 p.m. at the Flint Funeral Home, Moira.

Funeral Services for Agnes will commence Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
