OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Area Zonta Club held its sixth Witches Night Out fundraiser recently at the Freight House Restaurant.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Ogdensburg Area Zonta Club scholarships and community projects
“We are always looking for new members, if you share our mission of empowering women and girls, we want to talk to you. Contact any Zonta member or message us on our Facebook page: Ogdensburg Area Zonta Club,” Zonta said in a press release.
“We would like to thank our Sponsors; Carrothers & Clough PLLC, Claxton-Medical Women’s Health Services, , Kimro's Medicine Place, Community Bank NA, Blevins Brothers, America 1 Realty, Jreck Subs, St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Foundation, and Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Also thank you to everyone who donated to our silent auction. A special thanks to Valerie Visser Photography in Potsdam for the gift bags and extra generous silent auction item. The Freight House Restaurant, their hard working staff, Todd Truax Entertainment and Psychic Rich all added to the event and we thank them all for their part of the evening. A big thanks to all the Zontains who helped organize and especially the over 150 witches who flew in to enjoy the evening. Special congratulations to the winners of the Diva Witch, Scariest Witch, Sweetest Witch, Funniest Witch, Most Creative Broom, Best Shoes, Best Hat, and Best Cackle trophies. Every year these awards get harder to determine due to the creativity of those who attend. We can’t wait to see everyone again next year.”
