HAMMOND -- A Syracuse woman was busted along St. Rt. 12 Thursday night with what state police said were 30,000 cigarettes without tax stamps.
Christine A. Caluya, 43, was stopped at 8 p.m. and was charged with possession/transportation of 30,000 unstamped cigarettes.
The retail value of the cigarettes is estimated at over $10,000.
Troopers say the investigation is continuing.
