CANTON -- The Potsdam/Canton-based community group Write the Power NY21 will host a Congressional Candidate Forum at the HC Williams Senior High School Auditorium on Tuesday, Oct. 3, from 7-9 p.m. Doors open at 6:30.
Participants will include Don Boyajian (D-Cambridge); Tedra Cobb (D-Canton); Russ Finley (R-Lisbon); Ronald Kim (D-Queensbury); Steve Krieg (D-Plattsburgh); Emily Martz (D-Saranac Lake); Patrick Nelson (D-Stillwater); and Katie Wilson (D-Keene).
The event, free and open to the public, is an opportunity to hear from the eight candidates for the 2018 Congressional race in New York’s 21st District. Candidates will introduce themselves, discuss issues important to the district, and answer questions of concern to constituents.
The public is invited to submit questions in advance for potential use in the forum. Questions can be submitted at https://tinyurl.com/ny21forum.
The forum is not sponsored by any political parties.
