More wintry weather is in store for St. Lawrence County residents this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday will be mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of snow showers in the morning. Highs in the mid 30s. North winds around 10 mph. Chance of snow 20 percent.

Cloudy skies will persist into the night, with lows in the lower 20s. Northeast winds will be around 10 mph.

Finally, some sun is expected Tuesday during the day, with highs in the upper 30s, and east winds around 10 mph.

Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of snow showers, and lows around 30.

More clouds on Wednesday will cover the region, with a chance of rain or snow showers. Highs will be in the upper 30s, with a chance of precipitation hovering around 50 percent.

Snow is likely Wednesday night, with light accumulation possible, and lows in the upper 20s. Chance of snow is 60 percent.

Rain or snow is likely Thursday, with little or no additional snow accumulation expected. Highs in the upper 30s. Chance of precipitation will be 70 percent.

Snow is likely again Thursday night, and additional light snow accumulation possible. Lows are expected in the upper 20s, with a chance of snow at 70 percent.

Friday will be cloudy with a chance of snow or rain showers, with highs in the mid 30s. Chance of precipitation will be 50 percent.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected Friday night with a 50 percent chance of snow showers, and lows in the mid 20s.

The sun may make an appearance finally on Saturday, but there will also be a chance of snow showers, the weather service says. Highs are expected in the upper 30s, with the chance of snow at 40 percent.
