STOCKHOLM – State police charged a Winthrop man with operating snowmobile while intoxicated Thursday, after an investigation into a snowmobile accident back on Nov. 24.

Matthew S. Kelly, 32, Winthrop, was charged Thursday with operating a snowmobile while intoxicated, refusing to take a breath test, imprudent speed on a snowmobile and an equipment violation, according to police.

He was released on his own recognizance to appear in court at a later date.
