STOCKHOLM -- A 24-year-old Winthrop man was charged after leaving the scene of a property damage accident with first-offense aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and numerous traffic violations early Saturday morning, troopers said.
Christopher L. Jandreau is also charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, an infraction and first-offense driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. He is also facing traffic infractions of no inspection, no insurance, no registration, improper plates, moving from lane unsafely and speeding, troopers said.
He was charged at 5:15 a.m. Saturday on state Route 11C. Troopers said the charge stems from an incident reported to them at 3:35 a.m. the same day.
