BRASHER FALLS -- The 10th Mountain Division recently honored the Winthrop American Legion Post 514 for their support while stationed in Afghanistan.
Sgt. James Ferrell of the 10th Mountain Divison 2BSRB Company presented Legion Commander James Stickney with a flag at Jelly Beans Riverside Campground.
he 10-foot by 18-foot flag was flown over the Forward Operating Regional Command East Base in Sharana, Afghanistan from January until its deconstruction in August.
The Gladiators Battalion Commander awarded this flag to Post 514 in appreciation of their support and dedication to his soldiers during Operation Enduring Freedom.
