Tuesday, February 6, 2018 - 9:07 am

Light snow will continue to spread over the North Country this morning with snow showers ending early this evening and a high around 25 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

A winter weather advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Wednesday as three to six inches of snow is expected in St. Lawrence County, according to the National Weather Service.

Motorists should plan on difficult driving conditions, including during the evening commute on Wednesday, forecasters say. Be prepared for limited visibility at times.

A winter weather advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties.

Expect snow covered roads, use caution while driving and allow extra time if travel is necessary, the service says.
