Winter storm warning in effect until 7 p.m. Monday in St. Lawrence County; up to 11 inches of snow possible

A winter storm warning is in effect for St. Lawrence County until 7 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

As much as 11 inches is expected to fall before the warning is lifted.

Difficult travel conditions are expected and some blowing and snow drifts could create further hazards. A slow commute is expected area-wide Monday morning.

This Afternoon: Snow. High near 35. West wind 15 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow. Low around 25. Northwest wind around 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

Monday: Snow. High near 33. West wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
