A winter storm warning remains in effect for St. Lawrence County through 7 p.m. tonight as six to ten inches of snow has fallen across the region and another one to four is expected through this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Snow will continue to fall this morning as roads remain snow covered and visibility remains low de to blowing snow and covered trees, NWS says.
Winds will be 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph, the service says. Temps will be in the mid 20s.
The low overnight is expected to be around 11 with 5 to 8 mph winds.
There is a 40 percent chance of snow on Tuesday, mainly after 10 a.m., with a high near 30, NWS says. Snow is likely Tuesday night after 8 p.m. with a low near 26. One to two inches of accumulation overnight is possible.
More snow is forecast for Wednesday with one to three inches possible and a high near 35 degrees, the services says.

A 40 percent chance of snow showers, mainly after 10am. Cloudy, with a high near 30. South wind 3 to 6 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Tuesday Night
Snow likely, mainly after 8pm. Cloudy, with a low around 26. South wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Wednesday
Snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Southwest wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Wednesday Night
A 50 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 19. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph in the evening.

A 40 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 26. Northwest wind around 9 mph.
