OGDENSBURG – The Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Health Nuts Wellness Team recently sponsored the Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk, raising money for hurricane relief.
Participants followed a path of turkey jokes, and were entered into drawings for prizes including frozen turkeys and gift cards from Price Chopper. Pepsi provided water and Gatorade to participants and volunteers.
Will Bronner won the race with a time of 23:20.
By category, race winners are Female runners, 14-55, Lisa Bell, 32:28, Noele Weidner, 38:55, and Liz Truskowski, 46:28. Male runners, 14 to 55, Will Bronner, Drew McNichol, 24:53, and Murray Simons, 46:28. Male runners, over 55, Chet Truskowski, 46:28.
