HAMMOND -- Near perfect conditions of sunny skies, cool temperatures, and light winds greeted golfers participating in the Hammond Fire and Rescue Four Person Captain and Crew Golf tournament at Langbrook Meadows.
Brian Peck, Don Merritt, Mike Gooley and Joe Koscak took top honors after posting a score of four under par. Second place, with a score of even par, went to Peter Hunter, Ed Horton, Don Killian and Bob Farfaglia.
Brian Peck won the men’s longest drive and Peter Hunter sank the men’s longest putt. Lady’s longest drive went to Tammie Mace. Robyn Bickelhaupt sunk the lady’s longest putt.
Don Merrit showed off his short game skills by dropping his 40-yard chip less than five feet from the target.
