Windy North Country weather to subside tonight, weekend expected to be precipitation-free but cold

The windy weather is expected to subside tonight, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather this weekend will be free of precipitation but cold, the NWS says. A high of 21 degrees is forecast for Saturday, with a high of 15 expected for Sunday. No more snow is anticipated until Tuesday.

Warmer weather is expected to return Tuesday with a high of 37 degrees, but the warmer temperature will likely be accompanied by snow, said the service.

• Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 21. West wind around 7 mph.
