Three accidents involving drunk drivers, including a rollover, were reported in St. Lawrence County this weekend.

Potsdam police said they responded to an overturned vehicle on Maple Street at 8:28 a.m. Sunday that led to a driving while intoxicated arrest.

Christopher R. Plummer, 21, Spencerport, was cited for DWI after his blood alcohol content was determined to be .15 percent, police said.

Plummer sustained minor injuries from the accident.

He was additionally cited for speed unreasonable and prudent, officers said.

He was released on appearance tickets returnable to Potsdam Village Court Dec. 6 at 9:30 a.m., police said.

In Massena a two-vehicle personal injury accident on State Highway 37 on Saturday led to a driving while intoxicated arrest for a Winthrop woman, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies say Rebecca A. Diabo, 40, Hogansburg, failed to yield to Bambi L. Cohen, 30, Winthrop, at the intersection of State Highway 37 and O’Neil Road.

Cohen was initially charged with Common Law DWI pending further blood test results, officers said.

Both drivers along with a passenger in the Cohen vehicle were transported by Massena rescue to Massena Memorial Hospital for internal injuries and released, deputies said.

Diabo was issued a traffic ticket for failure to yield at an intersection, officers said.

Deputies were reportedly assisted by Massena fire and rescue and state police.

In Lisbon A Madrid woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a car crash on the Baker Road on Saturday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies said they responded to the accident at 6:21 a.m. and discovered that the driver Lynn M. Fisher, 36, was impaired by alcohol.

Fisher was arrested for DWI after a breath sample revealed a blood alcohol content of .10 percent.

Fisher was issued appearance tickets for DWI, failure to keep right, and operating with registration suspended.

She will answer the charges in Lisbon Town Court at a later date, officers said.

Deputies said they were assisted on the scene by Lisbon fire and rescue.
