The current warm and humid weather conditions in the North Country will continue through the weekend into next week, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers and thunderstorms will remain likely each day, the service says. Heavier rainfall is expected Thursday night and Friday morning, due to a low pressure system headed for the St. Lawrence Valley.

Fog is also possible Thursday, the service says.
