A cold weekend is expected to be bracketed by warmer weather tomorrow and early next week, with a chance of rain Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

It will be clear but not very cold tonight, and warmish again tomorrow, with highs in the mid-30s. Clouds will increase tomorrow, bringing with them a 40 percent chance of some snow showers in the afternoon which will increase to 90 percent tomorrow night. Accumulations of one or two inches are expected – not enough for the NWS to post any watches or warnings yet. Lows Friday night will drop to the single digits, but with northwest winds at about 10 mph, wind chills could make it feel like minus 6 or colder.

Saturday and Sunday there is a small chance of snow showers. Skies are expected to be cloudy but turning sunny on Saturday with high temps reaching 10 to 15 degrees. The Saturday night low will be in the low single digits, and Sunday night dipping to about zero.

Daytime temperatures Monday through Thursday will range from the upper 20s Monday to the mid-30s Wednesday and Thursday. Overnight lows will be about 20.
