A high pressure system will provide fair and dry weather through Sunday with mild, springtime temperatures expected through the weekend in St. Lawrence County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Today will be sunny with highs near 58 and winds of 5 to 10 mph, the service says. The overnight low will be around 31 with winds of 5 to 7 mph.

NWS predicts a high around 60 degrees on Saturday with northeast winds of 6 to 8 mph. Clear skies and a low of 37 is expected Saturday night. Winds will be calm.

Things continue to warm up on Sunday with a high of 67 predicted. Sunny skies and winds of 6 mph are expected.

Showers are possible early in the week as a weak cold front drops through the region, NWS says.

There is a 50 percent chance of showers on Monday with partly sunny skies and a high near 63.
