How long into November will the warm weather that has been blanketing the North Country last?

If the National Weather Service is right, we could get more this week and next.

According to Weather Underground (wunderground.com), the average high temperature at Massena on Nov. 9 is 40 degrees. The average low is 25. The records show that temperatures on this date have been as high as 70 – a record which the National Weather Service said could be broken today -- and as low as -15. At www.usclimatedata.com, the average daytime high for all of November is listed at 43, and the average overnight low is 28.

By those measures, it looks like we will be returning to more normal temperatures Thursday night, but then they will rise again over the weekend and into next week, when highs of around 60 are forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
