POTSDAM -- The Cure-iers, a group that raises money for type 1 diabetes charities, is seeking donations and sponsors for the ‘Walkin' for Willz Walk to Cure Diabetes,’ planned for Sept. 15 in Potsdam.
Donations can be made online at tinyurl.com/py5h6ga, by check to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, or in cash at Cure-iers events. Checks can be mailed to 9 School St./P O Box 252, DeKalb Junction, 13630.
Donors will be recognized on signs at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk and on walk T-shirts.
The group is also seeking raffle prizes such as gift cards, certificates or gifts for a Sept. 14 drawing. Photographs of all Cure-ier team members are available at www.thecure-iers.weebly.com for anyone wishing to verify a fundraiser’s identity.
