WADDINGTON -- CMT cable television stars Kristen Kelly and Keith Anderson will be among the highlights when the Bassmaster Elite Series returns to Waddington in July with national musical acts, rides and vendors.

Organizer Bob Giordano says this year’s ‘Party in the Park’ will be bigger and better than 2013’s when thousands visited the small village to get in on the fun.

The 2015 Elite Series and The Party in The Park in Waddington begins July 30 and runs until Aug. 2. The event features world's best bass anglers competing for the $100,000 grand prize and was said to have generated more than a million dollars for the local economy.

Performing artists this year include national country music acts Kelly and Anderson as well as tributes to ZZ Top and Pat Benatar. Atomic Perception and the Chris Taylor Custom Band will also perform. Some local artists performing at the event are Amy Rivera and Cruchnchenstein,

Aside from the music, visitors can expect rides, food and cold drinks in Whitaker Park.

Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the gate.
