POTSDAM -- Mary Thayer of Waddington won a queen sized-quilt made and donated by Betty Vebber of Canton during the First Saturday Festivities at the Best Friends Thrift Shop. Store manager Hilary Oak presented the quilt.
Raffle ticket sales garnered upwards of $300 for the Potsdam Humane Society.
"Thanks to all who supported the raffle," Potsdam Humane Society board member Bonnie Boyd said in an email.
