CANTON -- Jacqueline M. Perrault, 44, Waddington, has pleaded guilty to receiving $10,077 in Social Services benefits that she was not entitled to.
Canton police report they arrested Perrault Sept. 3 following an investigation by the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services Investigations Unit.
It is alleged that Perrault failed to accurately report receiving support to the St. Lawrence County DOSS.
Perrault allegedly received $10,777.30 in SNAP (Food Stamps) and Medicaid benefits between Dec. 2010 and Aug. 2013 that she was not entitled to.
Perrault was arraigned in Canton Town Court by the Honorable Cathleen O’Horo and entered a plea of guilty to a charge of fifth-degree welfare fraud in Canton Town Court.
She paid restitution in full and was released on a conditional discharge, according to Canton Police.
