WADDINGTON – Waddington resident Julia Domena finished third place overall for ages 13-14 girls in Troy at RPI during the USA Swimming Starfish Invitational competition.
Domena competed against more than 100 swimmers.
She took first place in the 50 with a time of 24.94 and the 100 with a final time of 54.59 qualifying her for Speedo Sectionals that will take place in Ithaca in March.
Domena broke five female Northern TRIBS swimming records.
Northern TRIBS Swimming will travel January 14-15 to Clifton Park with 15 swimmers to the Chris Goody IMX Challenge and again January 27-29 with 3 swimmers to the Northeast IMX Games at the University of Maryland.
