WADDINGTON -- The candidates for Waddington town supervisor, incumbent Republican Sandra Wright and Democrat challenger Alex Hammond, are inviting town residents to a joint meet-and-greet.
It will be held Nov. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the community room of the Waddington Hepburn Library.
The candidates also invite all other candidates running for office in Waddington to attend.
Hammond had challenged Wright to a debate, which she did not accept. She instead said she would prefer a meet-and-greet event where they can discuss issues with voters. More information about that is here.
