MASSENA -- A Waddington man is in critical condition following an accident Saturday evening at Sears where he was pinned underneath racks that collapsed when he was organizing them, according to state police.
Troopers say they responded around 6:40 p.m. to the St. Lawrence Center Mall, State Highway 37, and discovered Joshua N. Quintilliani, 35, was injured.
Quintilliani, a Sears employee, was organizing the storage racks in the warehouse when they collapsed, pinning him underneath, officers said. The racks reportedly held plywood, glass and metal materials.
Massena Rescue took Quintilliani to Massena Memorial Hospital where he was stabilized and airlifted to Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington, Vt., officers said.
Troopers said Quintilliani is listed in critical condition.
