WADDINGTON – A Waddington man sent to jail in lieu of $600 bail today for allegedly fleeing from St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies when they tried to arrest him on a county court violation of probation warrant.
Anthony W. Kocher-Morrill, 26, was arrested at 51 Lagrasse St. at 8:51 a.m. after he fled deputies who had gone to his house. Kocher-Morrill ran out the back door into the woods and attempted to eluded police, deputies said.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by state police and U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents.
He was arraigned in Town of Waddington Court and held on $600 cash bail or $1,200 bail bond, deputies said.
