WADDINGTON -- The Waddington Family Resource Center has received a grant from the Northern New York Community Foundation that will be used to purchase food for the pantry.
The center has food distribution on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, serving 125 to 150 households per month from Waddington, Lisbon, Chase Mills, Madrid and surrounding areas.
The thrift shop provides gently used clothing and household items at very low prices to anyone from the community.
Anyone wishing to drop off gently used clothing and household items may do so 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays.
