OGDENSBURG -- A Waddington woman and her husband donated dozens stuffed animals for child patients at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center and are encouraging others who are able to do the same.
Judy and Larry Jones donate the stuffed animals several times per year. This time, they came up with about 75.
"It is just a small token on our part to let them know they are being thought of when they are in the hospital," the Joneses said in a letter. "We hope … that perhaps others might be inclined to donate to the hospital children's ward as well, as they can always use the stuffed animals throughout the year."
