WADDINGTON – An employee at the Kunoco Food Mart in Waddington was the only business out of 11 in St. Lawrence County to be snared in a state police sting randomly testing for compliance with sale of alcohol to minors law.
Jennifer K. Wilson, 20, Waddington was charged with one count each of prohibited sale of alcohol to a person under the age of 21 and first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child after she sold alcoholic beverages to a 17-year-old state police operative, troopers said. Wilson was released on appearance tickets returnable to Town of Waddington Court on Nov. 1.
State police said the businesses that were tested and were compliant were A+ Sunoco in Norwood, Norfolk Liquor in Norfolk, Al Smith’s Superette in Norfolk, FeFee’s Market in Norfolk, the Valero in Raymondville, Stewart’s Shop at State Rts. 56 and 37 in Louisville, Louisville Mini-Mart in Louisville, Wilson’s General Store in Chase Mills, Main Street Market in Madrid, and Stewart’s Shop, Gouverneur Street , Canton
