CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County American Association of University Women Open Windows for Girls recently sponsored Ella Kitzman of Waddington and Alyse Tavernier of Canton to attend the 2014 Camp Invention Morphed program at SUNY Canton.
Students at the camp played inventor for a week at a national summer program.
"The weeklong day camp for 1st through 6th graders is an exciting, summer adventure in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)," AAUW said in an email.
Kitzman and Tavernier are two of 13 St. Lawrence County girls who attended summer camps or national seminars through the Open Windows for Girls program.
