WADDINGTON -- A Waddington four-year-old suffering from congenital illness recently had his wish granted to meet wild animals.
Easton Stone recently got to visit the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Columbus, Ohio through the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York.
Stone has a congenital cardiac condition and seizure disorder, which recently qualified him for a wish.
When his wish-granting volunteers met with him to determine his “one true wish,” he excitedly shared his love for animals, especially monkeys.
While at the zoo, he visited animals from around the world and “was excited to see them up close,” a news release from Make-A-Wish said.
He discovered on his trip that the Columbus Zoo is home to a variety of monkeys, including apes, baboons, gorillas, chimpanzees, and orangutans.
“Easton was all smiles as he got to meet the animals and he especially enjoyed seeing armadillos, penguins, and giraffes,” the release said.
